My Olympic Challenge and the giveaway date

This Canada quilt project started as part of a block swap and an online group challenge to celebrate 10 years. I have it basted and ready to quilt. This will be my Olympic challenge. I plan to have this completed by the end of the 2010 Olympics.

So, the last day of the Olympics (February 28) will be the day that I  pick the winning name for a giveaway of a quilted wall hanging. That makes one month of visitors to draw from; the more visitors, the merrier! Please leave a comment so that I know you were here.

  1. I just saw your code. What a brilliant idea. Since I'm in the US, I think I might try something like that with the states.

  2. Great project idea!!! I live just 4 miles south of the border crossing, in Lynden Washington, so watching things prepare for this week has been interesting. Thanks for sharing all you do, I love visiting.

    Linda,
I really like your challenge quilt. I am working on mine but didn't get it done for the deadline. I have all my province blocks together but that is as far as I got with it. I went to Cuba for 2 weeks and just did not get to working on it as much as I should have. I enjoyed doing that swap though. Hope to finish the top by the end of this year. I don't do well with close deadlines.

  5. Linda - what great idea! Have been watching a lot of the skiing! I thought it only rained in New England when people wanted to ski!
Well GO GLOBAL ATHLETES! the competition is great, but it kind of seems like the world plays well together for the brief moment in time that is the Olympics! Mary in MA
